Bangkok, Thailand, is hot with “Korean tourism.”
From the 21st to the 25th, the “2026 Thailand International Travel Fair (TITF) was held at the Queen Sirikit Convention Center (QSNCC) in Bangkok, Thailand.
The Korea Tourism Organization participated in the event to promote Korean tourism. In particular, actor Park Bo-gum, an honorary ambassador for Korean tourism, participated and introduced recommended travel destinations in Korea based on his own experience, drawing keen attention from Thai fans.
In addition, popular Thai idol group “DICE” and influencer “Bangkokboy” also held talk shows on unique Korean travel contents such as Korean fashion, gourmet, and beauty.
TITF is Thailand’s largest international travel fair. This year, about 300,000 visitors visited the fair. A total of 37 organizations, including local governments, airlines, and travel agencies, and the Korea Tourism Organization announced the charm of various Korean tourism under the theme of “K-Lifestyle.”
△K-beauty zone where you can experience Korean cosmetics and personal color diagnosis, △ Hanbok, ‘K-Culture Zone’ where you can experience traditional Gat, and ‘K-Local Zone’, which showed the charm of the △ region, were popular.
Through special promotions in connection with the fair, practical attraction results were also achieved. The “3+1 Accommodation Promotion” in collaboration with the online travel platform “Traveloka” led to actual travel reservations in Korea. In addition, more than 1,2500 business and consumer consultations were held during the fair, laying the groundwork for the expansion of demand for visiting Korea in the Thai market.
In particular, the Korea Tourism Organization held a “2026 Korea Tourism Showcase” on the 24th and introduced trendy travel contents in Korea to local consumers in Thailand.
The number of Thais visiting Korea is showing a steep recovery as of the second half of 2025, up more than 10% from the same period last year, said Kim Jong-hoon, head of the International Tourism Headquarters of the Korea Tourism Organization.
