
Korea’s Top 100 Tourist Attractions
If there are many domestic travel destinations that have not been visited yet, why don’t you “break the seal” by looking at 100 representative tourist attractions in Korea selected by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Korea Tourism Organization? Among them, Iksan, Jeollabuk-do, is a relatively less well-known travel destination, and it is said that the city tour will be operated from this year. 100 must-see destinations for Koreans.

The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, along with the Korea Tourism Organization, selected the “2025-2026 Korea Tourism Top 100” as Korea’s representative tourist attractions. Since 2012, “Korea Tourism 100” has been a project to promote Korea’s representative tourist destinations that the Korean people and foreign tourists visiting Korea must visit every two years. The “Korea Tourism 100” consists of 61 cultural tourism resources such as historic sites, buildings, experience and recreational facilities, and 39 natural ecological tourism resources such as forests, seas, and wetlands. By region, 22 locations in the metropolitan area, 11 locations in Gangwon area, 15 locations in Chungcheong area, 18 locations in Jeolla area, 28 locations in Gyeongsang area, and 6 locations in Jeju area.
A total of 27 tourist destinations were selected as the “100 Best Korean Tourism” this year. They include Hangang Park, where foreigners visit to eat ramen, Seongsu-dong Street with a variety of pop-up stores, Gyodongdo Island in Incheon, which filmed “Squid Game,” Daegu Private Garden, a tranquil space for thoughts, and Jeongdong Simgok Sea Fan Road with a transparent sea. The selected tourist destinations can be found on the websites of all corners of Korea and the 100 best Instagram accounts for Korean tourism (@visitkorea 100).

World Heritage Site by Bus
Iksan-si, Jeollabuk-do, will start the “2025 Iksan City Tour.” Starting this year, the “愛 World Heritage Center” will be added to the city tour course. The Godo Manseae World Heritage Center is a space to experience Iksan history and culture and illuminate Baekje’s ancient cultural heritage. The city operates circular and themed city tours throughout the year. Starting with Iksan Station, the circular type runs six times a day through Won Buddhism General Headquarters, Gosrak, Mireuksa Temple Site, World Heritage Center, and Wanggung-ri ruins. The theme type, which is accompanied by a cultural tourism commentator in a vehicle, can be booked by phone or through the website three days before the operation. The theme-type products include the “Confession City Tour,” which pilgrims to the four major religious holy sites, and the “Nightscape Tour,” which enjoys a wonderful night view of Iksan.
